Okay, a tulip, a carnation, and two daisies.
1.50 Tulip (1)
0.40 Carnation (1)
1.96 Daisy (2)
----------------
3.86
-3.75 (Disclosed Amount)
----------------
0.11
Nickel, Nickel, Penny
-or-
Dime, hay-penny, hay-penny
In an alternative universe, Joe bought a tulip, four carnations, and a daisy for a total of $3.87 (or a dime and two pennies in addition to his other money).
