Photo Phridays: The Battle of Midway Airport

We happened upon this Battle of Midway display in the middle of the Midway Airport in Chicago, complete with authentic WWII plane. It's amazing what you can learn from an airport: all this time I had (incorrectly, it seems) thought the Battle of Midway took place somewhere in the middle of the Pacific, but instead, it was right there in the midwest! Incredible!
